Puente Program

Congratulations to Riverside City College student Priscila Gonzalez Garcia on her acceptance into the RCC Puente Program.  Priscila, an international student from Cabo San Lucas, is a theater arts major in her second year of study at the college.  After graduating from university, Priscila plans to work in the entertainment industry.

The Puente Project is an academic and community leadership program designed to help students transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The project meets this goal through a two-semester English composition class emphasizing Latino literature; counseling; and mentoring by professional community members. Students remain with the same instructor, counselor, and mentor for the full year.

For more information on the program, pl
