Things to Do: Go to the Drive-In Movies

A drive-in theater is a form of cinema structure consisting of a large outdoor movie screen, a projection booth, a concession stand and a large parking area for automobiles.  You get to watch movies from within your car!   The local Van Buren Drive-In offers back-to-back movies...you can see two films for $8.00.  Not a bad deal!   For more information about the Van Buren Drive-In go here.

Things to Do: Mt. Rubidoux

Over the next few months, we'll be posting a series of "Things to Do in the Riverside Area."  Our goal is to share with our international students some ideas for activities that are fun, inexpensive, and local!!!

First up, Mt. Rubidoux!  The park, located walking distance of RCC, offers an easy-to-moderate hike on a paved path to the top of Mt. Rubidoux.  Beautiful views, interaction with nature...and a stone's throw away.
