Things to Do: Go See A Hockey Game

The Ontario Reign are a professional ice hockey team from Ontario, California that play in the ECHL. Their home arena is the Citizens Business Bank Arena, which is about a 20 minute drive from Riverside.  Tickets to the games are relatively inexpensive.  You can find the schedule and purchase tickets here.

Things to Do: UCR Botanical Gardens

 If you are looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy nature, UCR Botanic Gardens is the right place! Nestled in the foothills of the Box Springs Mountains on the east side of the University of California, Riverside Campus, the Gardens covers 40 hilly acres. Wander over four miles of scenic trails or just relax on a bench and enjoy the beauty. The UCR Botanic Gardens hosts a variety of events.  View the UCR Botanic Gardens Calendar of Events.

Things to Do: Horseback Riding

Sunshine and Daydreams offers private guided horseback riding in a beautiful trail environment. Join and ride across Hidden Valley Wildlife Preserve (over 3000 acres), and experience beautiful California landscapes featuring foothills, riverbed and native California trees and plants.

Things to Do: Molinos Cafe at Downtown Riverside

Have you ever been to Molinos Cafe for a cup of coffee? If you haven't, we suggest that you go and taste their delicious lattes. While their barista makes a cup of coffee for you, you can enjoy the view of the Mission Inn's unique architecture. Molinos is one of the cafes in Riverside where you can socialize and meet with RCC and UC Riverside students.  For more information visit their website.

Things to Do: Visit California Citrus State Historic Park

One of the  most popular events in February is Citrus Sampling

Sample over 20 wonderful varieties of citrus at this delicious gathering.

Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM.

The event is free. $5.00 Parking Fee
Meet at the Visitor Center, Museum, and Store.

Things To Do: Visit Lake Arrowhead

Need some fresh air? Lake Arrowhead is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a beautiful mountain scenery! It is located in the San Bernardino National Park (one hour drive from Riverside).

There, you can hike during the summer, take a tour on the Lake Arrowhead Queen Paddleboat or rent a bicycle to go mountain biking. In the winter, you can go ski in the place called "Snow Valley."

Spamalot at Performance Riverside

Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and features a bevy of beautiful show girls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people.
